YEREVAN. – Fund raising to recover damages caused by four-day hostilities in Karabakh was discussed during the joint session of the local chapters and the board of trustees of Hayastan All Armenian Fund.

Unless there are new proposals, fund raising for Karabakh will be adopetd as a strategic direction, Executive Director Ara Vardanyan told reporters.

“I can not say, even approximately, how much money will be necessary, however, comprehensive support is needed beginning with the delivery of medical supplies and up to home repair. We will help certain families and the families of the dead soldiers,” he said.

The issue is being discussed and will be resolved within two months. Ara Vardanyan also added that in addition to the effects of hostilities in Karabakh there are many other problems, and the fund will focus on the most affected areas.
