At least 17 people were killed and 19 injured in a fire at an army ammunition depot in the Indian state of Maharashtra on Monday night, Independent reported.
According to local residents, they heard sound of an explosion at midnight.
The evacuation of people from nearby settlements is underway, the news agency reported.
