The opening ceremony of an Armenian pavilion at the international exhibition in Marseilles, France, was held the other day. This time the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) participated in the exhibition.

The press service of the NKR Permanent Representation in France informed NEWS.am that members of the local Armenian community, local officials and journalists took part in the ceremony. Garo Hovsepyan, the head of the Armenian youth cultural center of Marseilles, RA Ambassador to Armenia Vigen Chitetchyan, NKR Ministerof Economy Karen Yesayan made speeches at the ceremony. Minister Yesayan thanked the organizers and visitors, as well as Jean-Noël Guérini, President of the General council of Bouches-du-Rhône, for his interest in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Among the exhibits were products of light and handicraft industries.

A documentary on Nagorno-Karabakh was shown. At a roundtable that followed the demonstration, Minister Karen Yesayan and Director of the Artsakh Fruit Company Gagik Nersisyan asked the participants’ questions about the NKR’s economic development.
