YEREVAN. – Even though the Armenian national pavilion in the Chinese town of Ningbo was officially opened in June, it already functions for six months.

Artur Yegoryan, a member of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia and of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia in China, noted the abovementioned at a press conference on Tuesday.

He added that the Armenian pavilion works six days a week.

“The pavilion has its individual sections: sales, marketing, goods’ import, and customs sections,” noted Yegoryan.

Furthermore, a brotherhood agreement was signed between Ningbo and the Armenian town of Kapan.

“Why was Kapan selected?” continued Artur Yegoryan. “Because the maritime sector of the Silk Road begins from Ningbo, and passes also through the town of Kapan.”
