YEREVAN. – First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan on Tuesday received a delegation led by Brigadier General Martyn Gamble, Commander of the 160th Infantry Brigade & Headquarters Wales of the UK armed forces.

The Ministry of Defense (MOD) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the interlocutors discussed the opportunities for making cooperation grow deeper and collaborating in new domains.

The 160 (Wales) Brigade is a partner of the Armenian MOD, and it cooperates and exchanges knowhow with the Armenian armed forces for the past two years.

The British military delegation also visited the site where the phased course is conducted for the training of Armenia’s junior commanders.
