YEREVAN. – The current status of Nagorno-Karabakh does not ensure all the rights of its people.

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Minister of Foreign Affairs Karen Mirzoyan told the aforementioned to reporters on Thursday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

He noted this after the talk between NKR President Bako Sahakyan, and Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Chairperson-in-Office and German Minister for Foreign Affairs Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in Yerevan.

Commenting on the remark that the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office stated about the impossibility of the status quo, Mirzoyan suggested clarifying what this phrase assumes.

“The current status of Nagorno-Karabakh does not ensure all the rights of its people and all the opportunities for unimpeded progress of the state-building process of Artsakh,” stressed the Artsakh FM.

Karen Mirzoyan also recalled that this year will mark the 25-th anniversary of the NKR. In his words, all steps need to be taken so that the Artsakh people’s accomplishments get recognized phrasing and confirmation.
