The Brit, who in the United States tried to seize arms from the police to attack the US candidate for the presidency from the Republicans Donald Trump, might end up with 30 years of imprisonment.

On June 29 the jury issued an official indictment against Sendford that consists of three points, including points on obstructing activities of the police   and possessing illegal arms. Overall, he might be sentenced to up to 30 years of imprisonment, reported the AP.

The state lawyer provided by the court to defend Sendford earlier said that his client suffers from autism and cannot respond to the allegations. The judge was also told when Sendford was young he received therapies for obsessive -compulsive disorders and anorexia.

The incident took place about two weeks ago in Las Vegas.  Nineteen -year-old Michael Sanford tried to snatch the weapon from the police. The young man said he wanted to take Trump’s autograph, but during the conversation tried to unsheathe the weapon of the policeman. Sanford admitted that he was preparing an assassination attempt. He did not know how to shoot, but he went for shooting classes a few days before the rally.
