There are journalists among the victims in a clash that took place at night in Khorenatsy street and adjacent areas, reports the press service of the RA Ombudsman . "Preventing the activities of the media is worth criticism, not only as a manifestation of violence , but also as an extremely negative phenomenon. “

Impeding the professional activities of journalists is a criminal offense , regardless of who committed - a state body or a citizen who participates in the rally. In this regard , we will transfer to  the appropriate prosecution authorities all the materials that we have at our disposal, says the institution of the Ombudsman. 

We ask all citizens to pass all the unpublished video materials that have an information about violence against journalists to us , so that the Human Rights Defender office actions have been a priority, says the  statement .

As reported earlier, on July 20, when on the street of Khorenatsy there gathered hundreds of citizens, expressing a support for the actions of the armed groups, they demanded to solve the problem starting it with handing food to the armed grups. Without waiting for the return of the MP MP Nikol Pashinyan, who went to negotiate with the police, some protesters tried to break through the cordon of the police, throwing stones at law enforcement officers. In response, the police used flashbang grenades and tear gas. The participants after the dispersal of the protesters built barricades of garbage cans. Some of them blocked traffic at the crossroads of Avenue Tigran  Mets and Nar-Dos streets.

According to the Armenian Ministry of Health the number of persons who was delivered or applied to the medical facilities , amounted to 51 , 28 of them were the police
