EREVAN. – Two journalists were injured as a result of the clash between police and supporters of the armed gang that seized police station in Yerevan, Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He said they are correspondent of iravaban.net and xnews.am.
“Any attack on journalists is unacceptable. The Criminal Code also assumes responsibility for obstructing the activities of a journalist,” he said.
A clash between police and protesters broke out on Wednesday evening. When the number of protesters reduced, police officers started dispersing the crowd. Dozens of protesters were detained.
