If ex-U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, her husband Bill Clinton would not be able to attend meetings at the White House, and will be deprived of an opportunity to influence decisions of his wife, The New York Times reported quoting  presidential candidate’s advisers.

According to the edition, former U.S. President Bill Clinton will not be invited into the Situation Room. In addition, he will step away from his family’s foundation work and may not even have an office in the West Wing.

U.S. political commentator and former presidential advisor David Gergen stated that relationship of the current and former presidents will be a very sensitive issue.

According to him, Clinton would like to rewrite history of his presidency by influencing his wife.
