The representatives of the Ombudsman visited Shengavit police station and met with Levon Barseghyan, the head of Gyumri Asbarez Journalists' Club. The Ombudsman's office informs the NEWS.am that the representatives of the Ombudsman held a private meeting with Levon Barseghyan and assisted to the implementation of the meeting between him and his lawyer .

According to the police, yesterday after the rally 64 people were arrested on suspicion of illegally carrying weapons, ammunition, and possessing explosives. 63 out of them have been released, whereas one has been arrested, since the police have discovered that he possesses arms. The arrested is a member of the Founding Parliament.

It turns out that Levon Barseghyan was not released . His son , Hayk Barseghyan said that his father was in Shengavit police station . Levon Barseghyan was detained at around 3.00 am and according to the law should have been released after three hours .
