The Sasna Tsrer group has just released the medical assistant David Tonoyan in the morning of July 27, said the spokesperson of the Minister of Health Anahit Haytayan to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to the official police statement, the Sasna Tsrer keeps doctors as hostages. However, a member of the Founding Parliament Alek Yenigomshyan claims that they are not hostages, and “Sasna Tsrer” group will release them as soon as the medical group headed by Health Minister Armen Muradyan will come to the seized police regiment.

As earlier reported, according to the Health Ministry press-service, doctors Norayr Tevanyan and Salvador Khechoyan, paramedic David Tonoyan and nurse Malina Markaryan were taken hostage while carrying out their professional duties in the seized police station.
