The French authorities found out the identity of the second terrorist who made an attack on the Catholic Church in the suburb of Rouen, reports the  AFP, referring to the prosecutor’s office.

Earlier only one of the attackers’ identity was officially approved, Adel K.  Adel was known to the intelligence services, as he tried to leave for Syria twice but was arrested in Turkey and extradited to France, where he was placed under pre-trial investigation. He was released with an electronic bracelet.

The second terrorist is 19 -year-old Abdel Malik Petijan, who was wanted in the end of June for attempting to leave Syria. Previously, he had no criminal record .

As earlier reported, on July 26, 2 terrorists armed with knives attacked the church of Saint Etienne du Rouvrei and killed the priest .
