YEREVAN. - The rally in support of Sasna Tsrer armed group, which had seized Yerevan’s Erebuni police station for 15 days, kicked of in the city’s central Liberty Square with delay.
One of the rally organizers, Gayane Gasparyan, recalled that protests are slated to be staged in the U.S. and a number of European countries on Friday, Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent reports.
She urged the citizens to gather in the Liberty Square on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
Like during the previous days, the outside lighting of the Opera theatre was again switched off. It is yet unknown whether the rally will be followed by a march.
