YEREVAN. - Although the criminal case launched against Armenia’s Founding Parliament radical opposition member Jirair Sefilian has been joined with Sasna Tsrer’s case, no new episodes have appeared in Sefilian’s indictment.

Sefilian’s attorney, Tigran Hayrapetyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.

The attorney recalled that back in February 2015, a case was launched under Articles 35-225 of the Armenian Criminal Code (organization of mass disorders).  In the framework of this case, charges were brought against five members of the Founding Parliament: Gevorg Safaryan, Jirair Sefilian, Garegin Chookaszian, Pavlik Manukyan and Varuzhan Avetisyan.

Another case was launched this May, in the framework of which charges were brought against Jirair Sefilian and eight citizens.

Tigran Hayrapetyan also informed that no investigative actions involving his client have been carried out.
