President of the Against Legal Willfulness NGO Larisa Alaverdyan, who was also the former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, has turned to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), asking to organize her meeting with the Sasna Tsrer armed group members, who are currently in the Prisoners’ Hospital.

Alaverdyan told the aforementioned to journalists on Tuesday.

According to her, she is aware of the health condition of Sasna Tsrer armed group member Hovhannes Harutyunyan and other members. Ms Alaverdyan demanded to provide them with proper medical assistance.

For her part, MP Zaruhi Postanjyan noted that she met with the head of the Prisoners’ Hospital, who informed that the Erebouni Medical Center doctors will visit the members, carry out necessary examination and provide them with medical assistance.

March in support of the Sasna Tsrer armed group members was held in Yerevan on Tuesday. The march participants demand to provide proper medical assistance to the wounded members of Sansa Tsrer, who are in the Prison Hospital. Specifically, the attorney of Sasna Tsrer armed group member Hayarpi Sargsyan noted that her client can’t move his leg for several days, but he isn’t provided proper medical assistance.

The attorney of Sansa Tsrer group members Pavlik and Aram Manukyan earlier announced that the paramedics of Erebouni Medical Center will no longer carry out round-the-clock duty in the Prisoners’ Hospital, which is a violation of her clients’ rights.
