After the doctors of Erebuni medical center had spent a few hours at the prison’s hospital, they came to a conclusion that Hovhannes Harutyunyan , the member of Sasna Tserer group, who is wounded in his foot, cannot be operated on, said his defense attorney Hayarpi Sargsyan to the NEWS.am.
"Today the doctors came to discuss the X-ray results. They said unless the wounds are healed, there can be no talks about the surgery," said the defense.
Hovhannes Harutyunyan's mother claimed that her son be visited by a doctor, she is familiar with, but her application has been filed today, and they did not receive an official permission.
As for the health condition of Hovhannes, the defender said: " The plaster was cast over his leg two days ago, after which the pains in the heel mitigated, but he still suffers bone pains. The change is that they casted the plaster, X-rayed yesterday, but it is not yet know, when he will be operated on."
As reported earlier, Hovhannes Harutyunyan 's condition had worsened , but he was not provided with a proper medical care , which his defense assesses as a torture against Hovhannes. Previously, the Sasna Tserer’s supporters met with the Ombudsman , who promised to process the complaint. Supporters marched to the Ministry of Justice , but the Minister Arpine Hovhannisyan did not go out to talk to them. Finally, they headed to the area of the hospital, where they continued the protest.
