After the fire that claimed many lives in a warehouse in Moscow, a criminal case has been launched on charges of violation of fire safety requirements, reported NEWSru news agency of Russia.

And Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin tweeted about the death—in hospital—of another victim of this tragedy.

As result, the death toll in this fire in the Russian capital city has reached 17. All casualties are Kyrgyz citizens, who could not get out of the burning printing house.

Ilya Denisov, chief of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry department for Moscow, informed that the fire was caused by a defective lampshade.

“There were many flammable liquids and printing products in the warehouse where it was found,” added  Denisov.
