YEREVAN. - A small gold ore enrichment plant will be constructed in Kotayk province.

General Director of Meghradzor Gold LLC Vardan Margaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the plant plans to produce 15-20 kg gold concentrate per month.

In his words, given favorable conditions, he plans to complete the construction already this year.

The company uses the Meghradzor gold ore field (but for Lusajur section, which belongs to the entrepreneur, ex-MP Tigran Arzakantsyan). Currently, the company sends its ore (about 5,000 tons per month) to Ararat gold extraction plant, owned by Russian GeoProMining concern.
