Charlotte Police claims that the man who was shot by the police was armed .

Earlier it was reported that police officers killed an African American in Oklahoma. The family and friends of the victim claim that he was not armed, instead he had a book in his hand. The police said the man was shot because he was a potential threat. Later, the police admitted that he was not armed. There took place a protest in Charlotte in connection with the incident, which turned into disorders, due to which more than 10 police officers were injured. However, today the Police Chief of Charlotte announced that they found the gun. According to him, the police ordered the man to come out of the car, and when he did so,  he threatened the officers with a gun he had in his hand. The police said that they did not find any book.
