Staffordshire bull terrier Freya, who is known as the loneliest dog in the world, has been cast in Transformers 5 together with Anthony Hopkins. Paramount Pictures has uploaded on YouTube a video from the shooting, Gazeta reports.

Freya appeared in a Liverpool dog shelter at the age of six months. It has overall been overlooked 18,000 times. The dog became media heroine and drew the attention of film director Michael Bay. The latter decided to give Freya a role in the new Transformers and promised to find home for the dog in his own house if it wasn’t looked after.

The film is shot in Great Britain. Freya features in the scenes with Hopkins. It is yet unknown whether the dog will feature in the film again.
