The Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, on Sunday paid a working visit to several units of the armed forces that are located in the northeastern border of the country.

Ohanyan also got familiarized with an ongoing large-scale construction work in one of these units.

In addition, the acting defense minister visited the families of servicemen Beniamin Yeghoyan, Armenian Urfanyan, Sargis Sahakyan and Vladimir Alikhanyan, who had fallen during the hostilities which Azerbaijan had unleashed in early April.

He stressed to these families that the heroism and self-sacrifice of their sons is appreciated anew, and it serves as an example for the Armenian youth.

Seyran Ohanyan added that the Ministry of Defense of Armenia always stands ready to help—as much as possible—address the challenges which the families of fallen soldiers face.

The families of these fallen servicemen, for their part, noted that such visits as well as the attention paid and appreciation given to the memory of their sons are the most valuable for them.
