YEREVAN. - Acting Justice Minister of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan was not able to give precise answers to the questions of opposition MP Hrant Bagratyan at the parliamentary session on Monday. The MP’s questions concerned the proposed changes in the Government structure.

At the debate on the Law on the Structure of the Republic of Armenia Government, Bagratyan asked her to explain how the functions of ministries will change together with changing their names. For instance, if the Ministry of Economy is renamed Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, it is unclear whether the Central Bank will transfer its control over the market of securities to it. It is unclear whether the control over natural resources should be transferred to some industry-oriented agency (since mining operation is included in industry).

Hovhannisyan merely answered that she will present the questions at the discussion in the Government.
