YEREVAN. - 8.8 mln AMD will be allocated for struggling against drugs in Armenia.
The decision on this was adopted at the Cabinet hearing on Thursday. According to the Deputy Chief of Armenian Police, Vardan Yeghiazaryan, the program will include 19 actions, including annual control over the illegal planting of poppies and cannabis.
Among other directions are the struggle against the use of drugs in military circles and comprehensive investigation of each such case, as well as explanatory work and seminars with minors.
