An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 struck 268 kilometers (166.53 miles) south of the island of Nuku'alofa in the Polynesian state of Tonga, the U.S. Geological Survey reported on Saturday.
The center lay at a depth of 57.6 km. Reports on the victims and destructions didn't arrive, Reuters reported.
