YEREVAN. – The UK people voted for withdrawal from the European Union because they wanted to return freedoms, the freedom of Britain, Baroness Caroline Cox said during a lecture in Yerevan on Saturday.
Baroness Cox said the UK citizens lack interest in remaining a part of the European Union.
Over 51 percent voted for Brexit during the referendum in June. The process is expected to take around two years and will be over in 2019.
