YEREVAN. - The Armenian police are preventing to the extent possible the work of pseudo-Armenian websites operating from Azerbaijan.  

Deputy Chief of Armenia Police, Vardan Yeghiazaryan, said the aforementioned in the Armenian parliament Tuesday, speaking at the debate on the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) protocol on counteracting crimes in area of information security.

In his words, the Armenian authorities have no possibility to directly influence the domain area of Azerbaijan but the issues of such provocative websites are regularly raised in relevant international organizations.

“For obvious reasons, we face both technical and political difficulties. But we are carrying out the work,” Yeghiazaryan noted.
