On October 20, Ukrainian and Azerbaijani defense ministers signed a plan on bilateral cooperation in military sector for 2011.

The document was signed in Crimea where the meeting of CIS Council of Defense Ministers is held, RBK Ukraine reported. The Ukrainian delegation is an observer.

The sides discussed ways of expansion and intensification of bilateral military cooperation, in particular in educational and scientific fields, as well as issues regarding student exchange and use of modern technologies in the educational process.

Earlier, Armenian and Ukrainian Defense Ministers Seyran Ohanyan and Michael Yezhel signed an agreement on cooperation between both countries’ defense ministries for 2011.
