Conti Federal Services company, based in New Jersey, was awarded contract to build new secret facility with hardened shelters in Israel by U.S. Department of Defence. As Janes Defense noted, the contract is worth $ 64.6 million.

The contract announcement gave no further details other than to say that the construction of ‘Site 13414’ is expected to be completed by 28 November 2018.

According to Federal Business Opportunities, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is the customer of the building. It will include air-raid shelters of 4,000 square meters, supporting facilities of 2,150 square meters, facilities for garbage 50 square meters, office buildings of 450 square meters, technical tunnels of 1,900 square meters and storage area of 2,200 square meters.
