YEREVAN. - Armenia should not be divided into castes of privileged and ordinary people.

Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly (NA) Eduard Sharmazanov, who is also the spokesman for the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), said the aforementioned in the NA Thursday at the debates on the new Government program.

According to him, the reforms should start from the Government: If the ruling force doesn’t see the log in its own eye, it cannot point to the speck that is in other’s eye, regardless of whether it is the opposition or internal partners, Sharmazanov noted.

“I’ll recall the ingenius words of no less ingenius Einstein: “We need a new way of thinking to solve problems caused by the old way of thinking”,” he said adding that we should avoid mediocrity and set high benchmarks before us.

In his words, supporting the Government programs doesn’t depend on whether one likes RPA or Dashnaktsutyun. “This program should be considered as means to improve the condition of the society,” the Deputy Speaker noted.
