More than 600 employees of the UN Secretary-General signed a petition, addressing Ban Ki-moon to recall the Wonder Woman as the UN ambassador for women’s rights, writes The New York Times.

" A large-breasted white woman of impossible proportions, scantily clad in a shimmery, thigh-baring body suit with an American flag motif and knee-high boots" is not an appropriate spokeswoman for gender equity at the United Nations, reads the petition. According to the newspaper, the employees who support the appointment of the Wonder Woman consider that it coincides with elections of new UN Secretary General. There were 7 women struggling for the position of the UN Secretary General, but it was a man, who had a victory. The new UN ambassador will be officially designated on October 21.
