The events occurring in the neighboring countries of Turkey are important to Turkey for security reasons, stated Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım.

Speaking with reporters, Yıldırım talked about topical matters, including Turkey’s steps in connection with the developments in Syria and Iraq, according to Demokrathaber website of Turkey.

He stated that Turkey has not set its sights on the land of any country.

“The most important [thing] for is the security of Turkey,” said the Turkish PM. “We carry out all operations in Syria and Iraq jointly with the coalition forces.”
