Lack of common language was felt during a meeting of Normandy Four in Berlin, Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

He said that the lack of common language in this stage was partly compensated by willingness of the leaders to continue working in the this format, Vesti reported.

At the same time, Peskov noted that the leaders were using more than a language in order to better posses the subject, in particular, Russian President Vladimir Putin was speaking English in order to talk to French President Francois Hollande, Hollande was joking in German with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in addition to Russian and Ukrainian was also speaking English.
