Resignation of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad would lead to the victory of terrorists and to a new wave of refugees, TASS reported quoting Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, a number of the countries was trying to play with a devil and trying to get rid of Assad with the help of terrorists and some just thoughtlessly were saying that Assad should leave.
Peskov emphasized that if Damascus fell and if terrorists appeared there, there would be no political settlement any more.
