There are no conditions for signing a peace accord on Karabakh issue, Russian political analyst Alexander Skakov told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

Asked how possible it is now to reach peace accord on Karabakh conflict, the analyst said he sees no such possibility in foreseeable future. “The statements on the need for peace and settlement of the conflict have been made long ago – both by the Russian and American side, as well as the entire OSCE Minsk Group. However, this results in nothing,” Skakov stressed.

Ambassador James Warlick, US Co-Chair of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group, stated in Baku that it is time to establish peace in Karabakh.“There will be no agreement without the return of occupied territories of Azerbaijan, or without talks on the status of Nagorno-Karabakh,” he noted.
