YEREVAN. – Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Russian natural gas company Gazprom, is once again in Yerevan, the capital city of the Republic of Armenia (RA), and this causes certain rumors, according to Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper.

“The point is that the two visits, which Miller paid to the RA before this [visit], coincided with reduction of the price of Russian gas being supplied to Armenia.

“It is not yet known for what purpose Miller has come this time. The official releases presenting the visit inform extremely general details.

“If Gazprom decides to reduce the price of [natural] gas [being supplied to] a little more, this will be a great assistance to Miller’s former underling (…), RA incumbent Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan,” wrote Haykakan Zhamanak.
