YEREVAN. – The information by the Armenian side as well as the statement by the co-chairs of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group shows that the ongoing discussions on the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict are aimed at strengthening the ceasefire.

Giro Manoyan, Head of the Political Affairs Bureau and the Armenian Cause Office of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party, noted the aforementioned at a press conference on Wednesday.

In his words, in actual fact, however, there is no ongoing discussion on the settlement of this conflict, and therefore it is indispensable to create a climate where it will be possible to speak about resolving this conflict.

“It is Azerbaijan that opposes to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict,” added Manoyan. “The co-chairs are intermediaries in this matter, and all their efforts will be directed to settle the matter.”
