The European Union is for the fastest resolution of the Karabakh conflict by peaceful means, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Ambassador Herbert Salber, said at the meeting with the Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov.
Salber noted that the EU wants the conflict to be resolved by peaceful means as soon as possible to ensure stability in the South Caucasus region, APA reports. According to him, it is thus expedient to continue the talks in this direction.
