YEREVAN. – In 2017, the Welcome to Armenia project wishes to hold a brandy festival in the country.

Welcome to Armenia Project Coordinator, entrepreneur Vruyr Penesyan, noted the above-said at the Welcome to Armenia tourism forum, which is held Friday in capital city Yerevan.

In his words, Armenia wants to attract tourists with its brandy traditions.

“Later on, we will thoroughly develop the [respective] project, and introduce [it] to tour operators,” added Penesyan. “I believe the theme of the festival is interesting enough to attract several thousand tourists from abroad.”
