By constantly rejecting proposals of the mediators, including the variants presented in June, October and November, Azerbaijan in fact tries to use talks as a veil to get ready for new adventures, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said in an interview with Armenpress news agency.

According to him, the same non-constructive stance was displayed by Azerbaijan during OSCE ministerial summits in Helsinki in 2008, in December 2009 in Athens and in 2010 July in Almaty. It continued during Astana summit as well.

“Armenian President mentioned about it in his speech delivered at the OSCE summit. Azerbaijani leadership is constantly speaking of their patience but they do not want to realize that patience of the world community in their efforts to stand Baku’s provocative non-constructiveness is running out,” he said.

Commenting on Azerbaijani high ranking officials’ attempts to distort the essence of the five-sided statement made in Astana, the Armenian FM said, “It has become a tradition for Azerbaijani propaganda machine to blow bubbles intended for domestic audience and try to cling to it. Armenia, as it used to do previously, steps up efforts to resolve the Karabakh conflict peacefully based on the proposals presented by the mediators.”
