Minutes ago Mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan submitted resignation, reliable sources inform NEWS.am. The text of Mayor’s resignation is yet unclear.
As NEWS.am reported earlier, Mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan kidnapped and brutally beat an employee of the protocol department of the Armenian presidential staff Aram Kandayan.
Earlier talking to NEWS.am, spokesperson for the Armenian President Armen Arzumanyan officially confirmed that the incident took place.
“Armenian President has repeatedly expressed his opinion on such deeds. This behavior is unacceptable, especially in case of officials,” he said.
