The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs intensified their efforts during Kazakhstan’s chairmanship of the OSCE, Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzislaw Raczynski told NEWS.am. The OSCE Minsk Group is perhaps the only format for settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, he said.

Kazakhstan exerted much effort to succeed in getting involved in this process. It is most difficult to change a really working format. “I think we are seeking for solution to the conflict, without solving the conflict itself,” Ambassador Raczynski said. Kazakhstan had no many instruments to influence the peace process, because the annually changing OSCE chairing countries leave the three OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs unchanged, he said.

Lithuania is taking over OSCE Chairmanship next year.
