Declaration on South Corridor will be signed along with other documents in the course of European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso’s visit to Azerbaijan.

A joint declaration is planned to be signed during Barroso’s meeting with Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev, APA reported referring to the European press.

President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso will arrive in Azerbaijan on January 13.  In the course of his visit, Barroso plans to discuss the issues related to Azerbaijan-EU cooperation, including energy issues. On January 14, President of the European Commission will leave for Turkmenistan.
