Crane collapses in Yerevan killing one and injuring another (photo, video)

Today at around 16:20 pm, a construction crane collapsed in the center of Yerevan, near Mashtots Avenue. 

According to preliminary information the operator of the crane Volodya Karapetyan, 65, died and another person was injured.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am, police officers and emergency situations ministry rescuers are working at the site.

A large number of citizens are gathered at the scene of the accident.
