A magnitude 6 earthquake hit north-western Turkey on Thursday, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reports.

The quake epicenter was near Simav city in Kutahya province, located 332 km south-west of Ankara. There are no reports on casualties, Lenta.ru reports.

At least 60 people were killed, 100 injured as a magnitude 6 earthquake hit Turkey on March 8, 2010.
