STEPANAKERT.-  President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan attended the  opening ceremony of a new stadium in the Askeran regional center.

President Sahakyan called important the role of such sport facilities in the regions and regional centers for developing sports and physical culture, as well as upbringing of healthy generation.

Bako Sahakyan handed in gifts to a group of individuals who actively participated in the construction of the stadium.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Speaker of the National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan and other officials were present at the event.
