YEREVAN. - One should more draw attention to official reports while dealing with information about incidents in the Armenian armed forces, said Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan.

“Each incident is discussed during consultations with law enforcers, then an official statement is made. Information spread by local commanders is just rumor,” he said.  

Asked about the recent incident in the Karabakh army, Minister Ohanyan said Aghasi Abrahamyan, 19, was taken to hospital unconscious. Later he died in the hospital. Experts found traces of violence on his body.

“It is not a secret, list of people who might beat him is revealed. All the perpetrators will be punished,” he said.
