BERN. – Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met Iran’s Mejlis (parliament) chairman Ali Larijani. The meeting took place in the framework of the 125th jubilee Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

Both sides stressed the importance of the expansion of Armenian –Iranian relations in all areas, the Iranian Official Information Agency IRNA informs.

According to the source, they also touched upon the issues concerning Iran’s nuclear programs and the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier that Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan visited Switzerland to participate in the 125th jubilee Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
