HAGUE. – Armenian delegation with the head of the State Migration Service Gagik Yeganyan was on two-day visit in Hague on Monday-Tuesday by the invitation of Departure and Return Service adjunct to Dutch Interior Ministry.

The delegation met with the heads of the Departure and Return Service and the Immigration department. The sides discussed issues on Armenian-Dutch cooperation in the sphere of migration.

The Dutch side praised high the cooperation with Armenia on this regard, as well as Armenian open and constructive approach, which has a positive effect on mutual efforts especially on struggle against illegal migration.

Armenian side stressed the importance of preserving, deepening, and expanding cooperation achieved for years, taking into account the recent developments with EU. Armenia and EU have recently signed agreements on Mobility partnership, Association and Negotiations on visa regime simplifications.
