Today, the annual trade between Armenia and India has modest indicators and amounts to only $200 million. India's Ambassador to Armenia Nilakshi Saha Sinha stated this at the India-Armenia business forum in Yerevan on Thursday.

The idea of holding this forum came about a month ago, when she was invited to an event aimed at finding ways to strengthen business relations between Armenia and India, said the Indian diplomat.

She hopes that mutually beneficial cooperation will develop.

The ambassador reminded about the agreement signed earlier between Armenia and India in high technology.

She noted the importance of cooperation especially in high tech, education, tourism, infrastructure, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and green technology.

The diplomat informed that Indians are the second largest community in Armenia today, after Russians.
